Riding the Pay Period Wave...Managing Finances with a Budget

I've been doing budgets for many years now, and I can say very confidently that I'm still far from having "the best" budget process. But what started with pen and paper has now become a very efficient way of viewing my data. Now I know everyone has their own style and method, but I'd like to share with you how I do my budgets (from beginning to end), in hopes that I can contribute to your success. If you see a flaw in how I do it, please let me know, so that I can better my process.
